But, due to lack of money, he travels by bicycle only. This time this devotee has left for Maihar Dham, which is about 300 kilometers away from his home.
Let us tell you that Kedarnath Soni, who lives in Sagar district of Bundelkhand, has done pilgrimage to Chitrakoot, Bageshwar Dham, Khajuraho, Rangir and other places by bicycle. This time he has left to visit Maihar Maa. Kedarnath Soni is a resident of Mir Khedi village of Rahatgarh block, who maintains his family by selling chaat.
Kedarnath told that the education of children is also going on. There was a little bit of land but the brothers kept it with them. That’s why the livelihood depends only on the chaat cart. Told that in such a situation, if money has to be spent elsewhere, then the budget gets messed up. That’s why because of his faith in the mother, he goes on pilgrimage by bicycle only.
Target to reach Maihar in three days
Kedarnath has set a target of reaching Maihar in 3 days by cycling 100 kms daily. Kedarnath Soni, a 50-year-old pilgrim, told that although he wants to visit every famous pilgrimage place, but the economic situation becomes an obstacle. In such a situation, ever since I have taken out the option of traveling by cycle, since then I have been able to visit many different religious places and have darshan of God. He says that as long as God keeps on calling me, I will go and have darshan at his divine places.
